Our Mission:
The mission of the Alliance for Retail Energy Markets is to promote the right of the California consumer to have meaningful energy choices and retain and expand the right to enter into direct transactions for electricity, while educating the public and policymakers about new technologies and innovations that promote efficiency and empower customers to make informed decisions about controlling energy costs and developing customer specific management strategies to meet their energy needs.
